Clon Vols Take Part in Gaelic 4 Teens

The club are proud to be chosen by the LGFA to take part in Gaelic 4 Teens 2026. This is following on from our hugely successful Gaelic 4 Girls Programme aimed at girls aged 8-12 years in 2025.

Gaelic 4 Teens is aimed at coaches with the aim of helping them retain teenage girls in sport.

Did you know there is a massive drop off rate in teenagers in sport? And that drop off rate is even higher for teen girls?

Clonard Volunteers is one of hundreds, if not thousands of clubs, throughout the Country that has experienced that drop off rate first hand. Our aim is to encourage and support our girls in continuing to participate in the sport throughout her teen years with the ultimate aim of that player staying involved in the sport right into adulthood.

You can also play a part in keeping your daughter active in her sports club during those important years, through encouraging her to keep coming to training or return to training if she has had a short (or extended) break, volunteering with the club yourself, letting the coaches know if there is anything they can do.

Many thanks to Adman Steel

Many thanks once again to Adman Steel for their generous donation to our club in 2025. This is the second year in a row that Clonard Volunteers has been selected as one of the many organisations that Adman Steel donates to as part of their not-for-profit Lean Factory Tour.

Many thanks to Alan Thomas for nominating our club as a beneficiary.
